Rokko and board the historic Rokko Cable Car. As you ascend the mountain, take in the lush green scenery. After enjoying the mountain air and scenery, travel via the Rokko Arima Ropeway directly into Arima Onsen, a resort town with over 1,000 years of history. Known as the retreat for emperors and samurai like Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Arima is famous for its unique thermal waters. Follow your guide through the winding, traditional streets, stopping to taste local treats like Arima carbonated rice crackers (Tansan Senbei). You will then have free time to experience the public baths.
