Description
After hotel pickup, you will drive approximately 30 minutes through upscale western neighborhoods to a marina on Trinidad’s busy north-west coast. There, you will board a 35-foot Bertram yacht captained by an experienced and hospitable guide.
Your cruise passes Nelson Island and the still-occupied prison island of Carrera, continuing towards the 'Dragon’s Mouth' depending on weather conditions. You can relax on the open deck, use the shaded area at the back, or spend time in the air-conditioned cabin. The second floor is open to guests for conversation with the captain.
The journey includes dolphin spotting, visits to small coastal islands rich in history and wildlife, and swimming stops in secluded bays. You may swim alongside wild Hawksbill turtles and enjoy onboard water toys such as a standup paddleboard, kayak, bodyboards, floats, and noodles.
