Adjoined to the fantastic Acajou Hotel, the Lime Tree in is a fantastic little restaurant situated in the north east of the island. Here Swedish chef, Petter Sjöström has created an enticing menu pulling on local and continental influences.
While visiting Trinidad Petter fell in love with the island and wanted to create a restaurant that shows off is passion for the Caribbean. The Lime Inn fuses together the famous Caribbean spice while also bringing some Swedish inspirations into the style of his food.
The first class menu is full of wholesome flavours, cooked with the use of fresh locally grown vegetables and fruits from the restaurants garden or nearby farms. A great section of meat and seafood dishes are on offer.
The staff at Lime Inn are exceptionally accommodating. If you are unable to decide upon anything on the menu, the kitchen staff flexible enough to prepare almost anything you wish with some notice. The expert chefs will also cook up any fresh fish you may have caught after a deep sea fishing tour. There is really nothing here they cannot do.
