Looking for adventure whilst you're on your holidays? Like swinging from 100 feet up? Look no further then than Zipitt: Trinidad's hottest adventure activity!
Located in the island's north western corner, half an hour from the capital, in the beautiful Macqueripe Bay, Zipitt really is adventure personified. There are seven ziplines here, so you can swing through the jungle canopy and over secluded coves for over two kilometres of pure fun! Word of warning however, those who don't like heights need not apply: the highest zipline is 100 feet up!
There are also a series of rope bridges to walk over, so make sure you wear sturdy footwear (no flip-flops). Safety is a major priority here, so unfortunately you'll need to be at least 1.27 metres tall and under 250 lbs if you want to have a go.
Due to the 'active' element of this activity, it is not suitable for pregnant women, those with a heart condition and the physically challenged.
